		<description>Scott - that&#039;s why I change the Apache port to 80 in step 3. If you were having conflicts on port 80, it&#039;s probably because you had Apple Web Sharing up and running - you should turn it off at System Preferences &gt; Sharing if you&#039;re going to run MAMP.

The /etc/hosts has more to do with internal WP configuration than with Apache.</description>
